Yamaha - Cruisers

YAMAHA XVS950A
The sleek new 950 takes cruiser development to a sporty new level. Beyond the traditional air-cooled exterior you’ll find fuel injection, four-valve cylinder heads, ceramic-composite-lined cylinders and forged aluminium pistons that mean business. The chassis design has been mass centralised with a carefully crafted rigidity in the longitudinal, lateral, and torsional directions. Together with the large diameter, low profile front tyre and optimal front end weighting, this adds up to outstanding handling performance in not only cruising, but on winding roads as well. Take one ride on the new V-Star 950 and you’ll feel the manoeuvrability and punch of the new benchmark in middleweight cruising.

XVS1300A
The most powerful V-Star we make - eighty cubic inches of fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, belt-driven Yamaha muscle. The rest of the package is equally serious; a 48% front tyre weighting, and solid engine mounting for direct handling, and a slick topside that includes a flangeless fuel tank and star quality paint and chrome - it’s all about technology and natural aggression.

YAMAHA XVS1900
Inspired by the 1930s Streamliner Moderne style, Yamaha’s XV1900 uses the oldest form to create the freshest look in classic cruiser styling.
An exquisite merging of old and new, the Roadliner mates traditional pushrod design with crisp fuel injection and EXUP exhaust valve performance in a 1854cc masterpiece.
Attention to detail is unsurpassed. Fat chromed bars are internally wired for a clean look that continues through to the integrated brake and clutch lever bracket/master cylinders.
Midnight ‘A’ model is finished in black while Candy Red ‘AS’ model has chrome highlights.
EXUP (Exhaust Ultimate Power valve) system inside the two-into-one exhaust system boosts torque in the 2500-3000-RPM range.
113-cubic inch air-cooled, pushrod V-twin with twin-bore downdraft fuel injection ensures optimum engine efficiency and throttle response across the widest possible range.
Classic-clock style instrumentation contains analogue speedometer, tachometer and fuel gauge, along with twin digital tripmeters, odometer and self-diagnostics.
Floating floorboards and an adjustable heel/toe shifter help provide a comfortable, low-effort ride.
Neo-Streamline Design: includes the first seamless fuel tank fitted to a Star, giving the Roadliner a completely distinctive look.
A thick chromed handlebar carries internal switchgear wiring for a clean, purposeful look.
Belt final drive routes power smoothly to the rear wheel for smooth lag-free take up when you activate that monstrous low-rpm torque.
